Coronavirus outbreak: Freeland says they’ve told U.S. that flow of medical equipment a ‘two-way street’

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said she had spoken with Ontario Premier Doug Ford about the hold up of a masks shipment that occurred at the U.S. border, and the ambassador to the U.S. is “seized” on the issue. It’s since been confirmed by Ford’s office the masks are being released. She added that they have stressed to the U.S. that the flow of medical equipment is a “two-way street,” and keeping that flow going is in the best interests of both countries.
