Coronavirus outbreak: U.K.’s NHS expanding capacity with more beds, staff, medical equipment

On Monday, U.K. Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Dominic Raab provided an updated on Britain’s latest COVID-19 response efforts, stating that the National Health Service (NHS) is expanding its capacity to fight the outbreak by increasing the numbers of hospital beds, key staff, and life-saving medical equipment. Raab also said that as of March 30, in the U.K. 134,946 people have been tested for the virus, with 22, 141 people total testing positive.
