The fight over access to end-of-life care in Quebec

A fight is brewing between Quebec family doctors and their union, leaving palliative care patients stuck in the middle. Despite an agreement to place some 68 palliative home care units around the province, only one has seen the light of day. That means the majority of Quebecers are being denied the right to die at home. Global’s Anne Leclair explains.
