Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer said on Oct. 15 that if elected prime minister, he would convene the first ministers' meeting on Jan. 6, 2020 in Ottawa, to "start the process of breaking down inter-provincial trade barriers" and "negotiate a truly free trade agreement" among the provinces.
