Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer announced Sunday in Canoe Cove, P.E.I. that if elected, the Conservatives would provide more support for veterans, including clearing a backlog of veterans’ benefits applications. But as Mike Le Couteur reports, while some veterans welcome the announcement, others are concerned it’s another party making a promise it may have a hard time keeping.
