U.S. says it will keep working with UK despite diplomatic row, Hunt promises to keep ambassador

The U.S. State Department said Tuesday it would continue to work with the UK ambassador despite a diplomatic row which saw President Donald Trump call him “wacky” after a leaked set of memos referred to the Trump administration as “inept.” Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt defended the ambassador saying he would remain in the U.S. if he becomes prime minister.
