Big fines for West Kelowna illegal dispensary owners
Description
May 1, 2019
The City of West Kelowna has followed through on its threat to take illegal dispensaries to court if they didn't shut down. Before recreational cannabis became legal, the city tried to shut down the dispensaries by leveling heavy fines. As Kelly Hayes reports, most of the dispensaries complied but two held out and now owe the city more than 100-thousand dollars in fines.
