It’s been 10 years since Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger successfully landed a plane in New York’s Hudson River. Passengers lived to tell the tale, because of a cool-headed and skilled captain at the controls. But as Eric Sorensen reports, problems with soaring costs and complacency in the cockpit are making it tough for pilots to stay sharp.
