Ancient drug could be key to opioid crisis
Description
December 19, 2017
It's not a new drug, in fact it's been around for centuries, but Kratom is getting a lot of attention these days. A UBCO assistant-professor is convinced it needs to be viewed as safe alternative to opioids -- and perhaps put a dent in the record number of opioid related fatal overdoses in Canada. Kelly Hayes reports.
