More than 2 dozen boats stranded on the Rideau Canal near Kingston, Ontario have finally been able to leave the docks they’ve called home for the past week – or longer in some cases. Rideau Canal staff announced late-afternoon they would work into Monday evening in order to allow these boats through the locks towards Kingston Mills and eventually Lake Ontario.
