Conservative Interim leader Rona Ambrose questioned why criminals’ rights were being put ahead of victims’ rights following the discharge of Vince Li. Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould said a “broad review” was being conducted into if those found criminally responsible get a “full discharge” from the crime committed. Li was found not criminally responsible for the beheading of Tim McLean on a Greyhound bus in 2008.
