A south Okanagan ski hill opens for the first full season since 2013 much to the delight of local skiers and snowboarders.

Ski hill openings are pretty normal at this time of year but Thursday’s opening at one Okanagan mountain is especially significant. It marked day one of the ski season at Mt. Baldy near Oliver. The resort was closed for two and a half seasons but as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the new owners hope their plans of attracting more business mean the closures are a thing of the past.
