Murder victim’s sister troubled to learn country’s homicide rates failed to include aboriginals until now

Wed, Nov 25: Sandra Manyfeathers has been on a relentless pursuit for justice following her sister’s murder nearly a decade ago, but only now has she discovered Jackie Crazybull’s death along with countless other First Nation people had never before been documented by Statistics Canada. For the first time ever the government agency is tracking and recording homicide rates to include aboriginals. Jill Croteau reports.
