Advocates for disabled people say provincial support needs to be increased

Tue, Jun 23 – More than 15 thousand people in Saskatchewan live off roughly $1,300 a month. That’s the average amount provided through the province’s disability funding program. But Tuesday, advocates urged the government to increase the amount a person receives by a couple hundred dollars a month. And as Global’s Teri Fikowski learned..in some cases, the extra dollars would go a long way.
