Canadian journalist out from Egyptian prison on bail
Journalist Mohammed Fahmy has finally been granted bail from an Egyptian prison but his ordeal is still not officially over. The decision was made about an hour after the start of a retrial for Fahmy and an Egyptian colleague who were arrested more than a year ago, accused of helping the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood. The Egyptian judge demanded that Fahmy pay a bail amount equivalent to about $41,000 Canadian. As Vassy Kapelos reports, a retrial has reportedly been set to begin on Feb. 23.
