U.S. President Donald Trump sent special envoy Steve Witkoff to the Middle East to “save lives” and “end” the humanitarian crisis, the White House said on Thursday. Witkoff and U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee plan to inspect food distribution in Gaza on Friday and secure a plan to deliver more food, as well as meet with local Gazans to hear firsthand about the dire situation on the ground.
