Taking an age-appropriate approach to talking about world events

With everything going on in the world today, it’s difficult to know when or how much to talk with kids about these events. The things we see on the news are often upsetting and can take a toll on our mental health. So how can families take an age-appropriate approach to explaining these things and how do we protect from the mental health consequences? Michael Neeland with CASA Mental Health joined Global News Morning to give some guidance.
