Lung cancer remains the most diagnosed cancer in Canada and takes more lives than breast, prostate and colon cancer combined. Yet funding and knowledge around the disease is relatively low. Tim Monds, a lung cancer survivor and the founder of the “Give a Breath” fundraiser, along with Dr. Simon Turner, a thoracic surgeon at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, discussed the issue with Global News Morning Edmonton.
