After U.S. President Donald Trump triggered a trade war between the U.S. and Canada with sweeping new 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian goods, Quebec Premier François Legault said he suspects the province “will do better than the rest of Canada.” He also said he believes the economy would eventually become stronger and less dependent on the U.S.
