Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited with Canadian survivors of the Holocaust during a trip to Krakow, Poland on Monday to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp. Trudeau met with 89-year-old Miriam Ziegler and Howard Chandler, 96. Trudeau said that this is a time when the world needs to be reminded “what never again means.” Among the other events in what could be his last major trip overseas trip as prime minister, Trudeau visited with Poland's President Andrzej Duda while also laying a wreath at a Holocaust memorial.
