Two Arlington Heights police officers and one firefighter were injured Friday when responding to reports of a vehicle fire in a Chicago suburb. A portion of the garbage truck in question exploded when the first responders arrived at the scene, sending debris flying. Authorities believe the explosion was caused by a compressed natural gas tank.
