Hundreds of dancers, drummers and attendees gathered in Saint John’s TD Station for the beginning of the city’s first official powwow. It also marked a return to tradition, as participants said Saint John, also known as Menahqesk, used to be a gathering spot. Global’s Anna Mandin reports.
