Aid groups are racing to avert the spread of polio in Gaza, after the Palestinian territory’s first confirmed case in 25 years was detected in an infant. The polio virus is highly infections and most often spreads through sewage and contaminated water, which is rampant in Gaza. Meanwhile, the United Nations (UN) is calling for peace in the region as the latest round of negotiations enters a critical stage. Nathaniel Dove reports.
