Israel’s military has withdrawn from Gaza’s largest hospital after a two-week raid, according to officials. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it killed some 200 militants and detained hundreds more. Gaza residents said the troops left behind several bodies and a vast swath of destruction at al-Shifa Hospital. Katherine Ward has this story and more in Health Matters for April 1, 2024.
