On Wednesday, former U.S. president Donald Trump appealed a New York judge’s ruling that he and his family business fraudulently inflated the value of several properties and his net worth by as much as $2.2 billion. Outside the courtroom, Trump said “This is election interference. They’ve made up a fake case. They’re fraudulent people. And the judge already knows what he’s going to do, he’s a Democrat judge.”
