Work began Monday on the conversion of Yellowhead Trail. Crews are spending this construction season converting roads in the Delton business area to make it so large trucks can move more easily there.

With construction getting underway this year on converting Yellowhead Trail into a freeway, some business owners along the corridor are left shaking their heads.

Plans to convert the Yellowhead into a free-flow freeway are still being worked on but will mean changes to several Edmonton intersections.
