An arrest warrant has been issued for the fifth suspect believed to be involved in a kidnapping that resulted in a teenager escaping from the trunk of a vehicle and hiding inside a Wetaskiwin car wash.

Two days after a teenaged kidnapping victim escaped her captors before being found by a car wash employee in Wetaskiwin, Alta., the RCMP says four people have been charged in connection with the incident and charges are pending against a fifth person.

Three people have been taken into custody and an investigation is underway after a 19-year-old woman escaped her armed captors at a Wetaskiwin, Alta. car wash on Wednesday after she says they kidnapped her.
