The United Way of Peterborough and District says the community showed plenty of "local love" during the 2018-19 campaign.

The main causes of homelessness in Peterborough include family breakups and the high costs of accommodation.

The survey, the second of its kind, is a partnership between the united way and the City of Peterborough. Lisa Smith with the United Way says speaking to the homeless directly is vital to getting the data they require.
