The tornado followed a path through the town  before it entered into Georgian Bay and damaged a tree, a power pole and a street lamp, according to a weather summary issued by Environment Canada.

At about 3:45 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to investigate an "incident" at Stillwater Park on Highway 11-17.
