The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association has announced that it has been recognized by the World Travel and Tourism Council as a safe travel destination.

Thompson Okanagan to host to annual event starting in October 2020, with the first stop being at Predator Ridge in Vernon.

“We want to boost tourism year-long...and not only in our three big cities which are Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver,” Joly said in Penticton on Thursday.

The International Indigenous Tourism Conference is an annual event, one aimed at growing Indigenous tourism throughout the nation.
