The City of Edmonton intends on using calcium chloride for another winter and Councillor Mike Nickel is not happy about it.

A pilot project to reduce ice and snow by spraying calcium chloride on some Edmonton roads will continue this winter — however an inhibitor will be added to the mix this time around.

An analysis of a new method the city tested this past winter to keep Edmonton roads free of snow and ice has come back and it will melt your taxpaying heart.
