The Cape Breton Regional Police Service and the RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Heelan Street in New Waterford on Tuesday. 

A 47-year-old man from Tower Hill, N.B. is facing numerous charges including drug and weapon possession following an arrest by RCMP.

The Alberta college of physicians and surgeons has added benzodiazepines, like Ativan and Valium, to its Triplicate Prescription Program over concern the drugs are being increasingly abused.
