Britain has yet to leave the European Union, but the term for its departure - Brexit - has earned a place in the Oxford English Dictionary.

Following media reports citing that international publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) had banned the placement of pigs or mention of pork in its children's books, Oxford University Press issued a statement denying the allegations.

After a BBC Radio presenter revealed that an author had been told by Oxford University Press to avoid mentioning pigs and pork in a book for youth, a source at the company told Global News that the reports that the publisher was banning any mention of pork were exaggerated.
