The job action will be the fourth held by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation in an attempt to ramp pressure on the provincial government during contract talks.

Educators represented by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation will hold another one-day strike, the third straight Wednesday, in a bid to ramp up pressure during contract talks with the government.

The strike, which was formally announced through a statement after an earlier update on negotiations, began at midnight on Wednesday.
