The Ancaster, Ont., man has been in custody since a Jan. 5 arrest and is now facing 28 more charges including luring and making child porn.

The site has been around since 2009 but has experienced a spike in popularity since the beginning of the pandemic as influencers use the site and post videos for their followers.

Cybertip.ca says offenders are blackmailing young people with manipulated photos and videos in a new sextortion scheme.
