Pre-registration is mandatory and those who have not pre-registered will be turned away at the border, the province said. 

Officials say 68 of New Brunswick's cases are travel-related, 42 are close contacts of confirmed cases and 10 are the result of community transmission.

Daniel Arefi's father, said the incident was a "miscommunication" because his son told airport officials he was in New Brunswick to visit when he was actually intending to move to Moncton.

Higgs announced a new $500,000 fund for the province's post-secondary students who are in need of assistance.

Dr. Jennifer Russell said the additional cases — all of which are travel-related — bring the total number to 33 cases in New Brunswick.

The province is working to ensure anyone who is an essential services worker can send their child to daycare at this time.

The province did not announce any new cases of COVID-19, with the total remaining at 11.
