Fatima Ahmad was entering the Montreal Metro at Charlevoix Station when she says a man attacked her and tried to rip off her niqab.

A 19-year-old Muslim woman is suing a Michigan hospital after she was viciously attacked by a man while checking into the hospital emergency room in February.

The lawyer for the 38-year-old woman told the court that her client is in hospital undergoing mental health treatment.

A young Muslim mother, who said she was spat on, punched and had her hijab pulled in front of her baby while shopping at a London, Ont., supermarket earlier this week, says she is worried about the safety of all Muslim women.
