Despite having to wait more than two weeks after cannabis legalization, many Lethbridge residents still flocked to the city's first pot store on its opening day.

The way marijuana is policed in Canada is about to make a seismic shift and it will be up to the Lethbridge Police Service to ensure the new laws of the land are being followed within city limits.

With the legalization date for marijuana less than a month away, the Lethbridge Police Service is preparing to deal with impaired drivers.
