Deer are not an uncommon sight in Lethbridge but for one couple, they have turned into regular backyard guests — all thanks to the legacy left by an old neighbour.

A Lethbridge couple got a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with some wildlife. A doe gave birth right outside their window to two adorable little fawns.

Alberta's police watchdog said it'll likely be at least another month until the initial investigation into an incident involving a Lethbridge police officer who ran over a deer with his truck is complete.
