The mother of a Halifax man who died in a police drunk tank has found a legal representative who will take on her police complaints case pro bono.

The Nova Scotia Police Review Board is hearing an appeal launched by Corey Roger's mother, Jeannette Rogers, regarding the disciplinary decisions of the Halifax police force after her son's death in June 2016.
