Surveillance footage aired by Turkish media on Wednesday purports to show a team of Saudis arriving in Istanbul the day Jamal Khashoggi went missing, a black van leaving the Saudi Consulate after he entered, and the team checking out and departing the country later that night.

The U.N. human rights office says the disappearance of a Saudi journalist from the Saudi Consulate in Turkey's largest city is "of serious concern," and is urging the two countries to co-operate in investigating it.

The image released on Tuesday bore a date and date stamp. The Post said "a person close to the investigation" shared the image with them.
