NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has been re-elected in his riding of Burnaby South, Global News projects.

The New Democratic leader is trying to counter a message from the Liberals that they are the only real option for progressive voters, as they have a better shot at forming government.

Singh will blast the Liberal government's deal with Netflix and cite the Colten Boushie verdict as an example of why more needs to be done to even the playing field for Indigenous people.
