Now that the EEDC has the Expo Centre back in the black, the president and CEO says they're looking at how to increase use of the arena in Hall D.

Northlands successfully got a local promoter to stop using its name without authorization for a planned benefit concert to aid victims of the Sept. 30 van attack and the Las Vegas shooting.

Plans for the future of Northlands include everything from a lacrosse field and outdoor concert space, to indoor and outdoor skating rinks.
