Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he is "proud" of his decision to tear up hundreds of renewable energy deals signed by the previous Liberal government.

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath has asked Auditor General Bonnie Lysyk to probe the cost of tearing up the agreements after the Progressive Conservative government made the move last summer.
