Dozens of climate change activists boarded two buses at Calgary's North Hill Centre on Friday for a three hour ride to join Swedish activist Greta Thunberg for a march and rally at the Alberta Legislature.

Gore Park was flooded with people calling for action on climate change Friday afternoon in one of hundreds of climate strikes across Canada and the world.

“Even though we ourselves aren’t sick, the planet which we live on is, and we are protesting and fighting for it,” said one student.
