Surrey RCMP are investigating a deadly targeted shooting in the parking lot of a busy Fleetwood shopping complex Sunday evening.

Police were trying to determine whether the U-Haul and its contents belong to the driver or if the truck was stolen.

Investigators believe the two men knew each other and there is no risk to public safety.

The Fountain Tire and Speedy Glass on Fraser Highway were destroyed in a fire back in May that's now being considered an arson.

Homicide investigators have identified the victim, who was known to police.

Three people have been taken to hospital after two serious crashes within an hour of each other in Langley Monday.

"If they adjust their speed, great, and if they don't, the police are out there giving them tickets," says ICBC road safety co-ordinator Karen Klein.
