Big White Ski Resort is designating two trails for fat tire mountain bikes.

Dozens of fat bike riders competed in an endurance race at Fort Whyte Alive Sunday afternoon. The inaugural ‘Winnipeg Whyteout’ featured the increasingly popular type of bicycle that has extremely fat tires which allow riders to tackle various types of terrain including snow.
