Starting Monday, double fares for thousands of Toronto and GTA transit riders will no longer be a thing, as the Ford government's One Fare program takes effect.

The board of directors at Metrolinx, Ontario's regional transportation agency, will meet today to receive a number of updates on its Regional Express Rail (RER), SmartTrack, and GTHA fare integration.
