There won't be permanent beaches set up along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River anytime soon.

The City of Edmonton and Alberta Health Services are warning about the potential risks of using Accidental Beach.

Ahead of the long weekend, City of Edmonton crews put in place the parking restrictions and a speed limit change on 98 Avenue for Accidental Beach.
