A recent car accident on a residential street in Laval was the last straw for families on Eliot Avenue who are calling for traffic calming measures.

After a number of close calls crossing the street with children, a mother is calling for improved traffic safety surrounding a Vaudreuil-Dorion intersection.

Melody Walker wants to shed light on a dark intersection. Walker says the area near Highway 97 and Pumphouse Road has poor visibility during dusk and night, which is putting lives at risk.
